The Library, Archives and Microfilm Archive of Jewish Newspapers provide valuable sources for scholars and researchers. A comfortable Reading Room offers the proper surroundings for undisturbed studying The Institute's library is open to the public and most of its books are for loan. According to the institute's tasks, the books deal with the history and culture of German Jewry in the last 300 years. The vast majority is in German, but there are also books in English or Hebrew. The institute has an important collection of German Jewish newspapers from the 19th and 20th (see also microfilm archive).
