The Leo Baeck Institute Jerusalem works to promote research in the field of the history and culture of German-speaking Jews in the disciplines of humanities and social sciences.
As part of its commitment to advancing research, the Institute conducts a variety of activities for students, doctoral students,young researchers and officials from Israel and abroad.
– Bi-annual research publications for senior researchers from Israel and abroad.
– Reading groups designated for Israeli students.
– Seminars for young Israeli researchers in collaboration with universities
and other research institutions in the country.
– Joint seminars for young scholars from Israel and Europe.
In addition, each year the Institute provides a number of scholarships and research grants for PhD students and young researchers that recently completed their doctoral dissertations.
